Now, let's go ahead and set these movie preferences. And, I recommend you hit No here, even though ZBrush recommends you hit Yes. Before I record the macro, I want to make sure I delete the movie that I recorded just in case it affects something with how I'm doing this. So, I like to record turntable movies very often to send to people. One of the big things I always like to have is my movie settings. Then, ZBrush just works the way I want it to, without having to reset all those things every time. That's why I save a macro that stores all of those extra settings and then make that macro run on startup. Many things can be saved in preferences or with projects, but not everything. So, for example, in a previous video in this series I made a macro for turning anti-aliasing on and off. One of the biggest reasons why you might want to edit macros is if you want to make a change to a macro that you've already recorded and you don't want to have to go through all the steps over again just to add a step or two to make your macro better. However, it's easier than you might think and it lets you do some things that can't be done by recording macros alone. I'll be honest, I can barely edit HTML documents, so when I first tried to edit macros I felt a little lost.
